On September 16, Kyiv hosted Young Chefs. Urban — an event that brought together young chefs, restaurateurs, and HoReCa professionals around the theme of contemporary urban cuisine. The event became a platform for new ideas, discoveries, and showcasing trends that shape the city’s gastronomic identity. For the fourth time this year, Oleina supported the professional culinary community by joining Young Chefs with its own stand. Visitors had the chance to explore the product range, including Oleina’s line of special oils.

The cozy Oleina Kitchen demo zone drew particular attention with tastings of dishes created by the chefs of Yevhen Chernukha’s Culinary School. Guests sampled original urban-inspired interpretations featuring special oils: Kyiv-style falafel with bean and pea served with sunflower seed and dill sauce, pumpkin with blue cheese, black dumplings with oxtail, and Kyiv-style chicken leg with kimchi tomato.

A key highlight for Oleina at Young Chefs was the live cooking session by chef Ruslan Miroshnychenko, who showcased the special Oleina Basil, Oregano & Rosemary Oil. He demonstrated how adding a unique flavor accent during the preparation of cheese with vegetable glaze can truly elevate a dish.

Participation in Young Chefs. Urban, organized by Hoteliero, marked another important step for Oleina in developing cooperation with the HoReCa community. Special oils are gaining more and more recognition among chefs, proving that modern cuisine can be simple, refined, and, of course, delicious.

“The URBAN concept is about the city’s dynamics, boldness, and search for new ideas — including in cooking. We believe true culinary masterpieces are born when chefs experiment, discover original tastes, and combine flavors. Taking part in events like Young Chefs helps us build dialogue with professionals and create new gastronomic stories together,” says Yevheniia Roik, Marketing Manager of Oleina.
