Winter Kitchen Vibes: Warm and Tasty Stories for the Children of Heroes

The first snow fell outside, and we hosted our 31st culinary masterclass! Once again, the “Oleina – for Children. Cooking with Love” project warmly welcomed the children supported by the Children of HeroesFoundation, offering them new knowledge and hands-on skills in preparing creative and delicious dishes.
The participants had the chance to cook a ramen suitable for breakfast, make a hipster burger, and experience a new culinary vibe while preparing eggplant with vibrant sauces during the masterclass held on December 16. The atmosphere at Yevhen Chernuha’s Cookery School, where the event took place, encouraged creativity, idea exchange, and positive emotions. Under the guidance of the professional chef Andrii Rybachenko, the young chefs prepared:
A light, aromatic, and warming breakfast ramen; a juicy and stylish hipster smash burger; and tender sous-vide eggplant with pesto and marinara. The “Banana–Parsley” smoothie pleasantly surprised everyone with its unexpected yet refreshing flavor combination.
Each participant expanded their culinary horizons, taking home a piece of a dish, they had prepared themselves, along with warm memories and positive impressions.
