There is a consumer demand for less processed, natural origin products. As a result, pressed refined vegetable oils are produced in many countries like the USA, France, Poland or Germany.

Pressed refined sunflower oil is produced by pressing sunflower seeds only once and then it is just refined.

Thanks to the global experience and support from international experts of Bunge, the world leader in selling vegetable bottled oil to consumers, the production of TM Oleina Pressed in Ukraine was launched. It is produced from 100% pressed refined sunflower oil.

The new refined sunflower TM Oleina Pressed oil:

  • Meets all local (State Standards of Ukraine) and international quality standards:
    • ISCC plus – international system of environmental production process sustainability
    • ISO 9001 – production process quality system management
    • ISO 14001 – environmental management issues related to production processes and connected with finished goods production process
    • FSSC 22000 – certification of food production safety system, including ISO 22000 – Food Safety Management Systems, with preventive programs from the range of technical specifications ISO / TS 22002 (food production, catering, agriculture, food packaging) and some additional requirements.
    • Ecological Certificate ISO 14024 for TM “Oleina Pressed”
    • Kosher for TM “Oleina Pressed”
    • Halal for TM “Oleina Pressed”
  • Has a “lighter” and “softer” taste as compared to Oleina Traditional Sunflower Oil, as validated by organoleptic testing by the independent taste panel of the Ukrainian Research Institute of Oils and Fats NAAS. (Resolution of independent taste panel №3 from 03.2018). This leads to a more gentle refined sunflower oil. In comparison to sunflower refined oil TM “Oleina Traditional”.
  • Is less processed as compared to Oleina Traditional Sunflower Oil, since we use exclusively 100% pressed oil (one of the traditional stages – the extraction of the sunflower oil – has been removed) for its production.”
