"Oleina" in partnership with Vostok SOS participated in the transfer of humanitarian kits to the Kherson region

Press release

Thanks to the charitable donations of the Bunge company (manufacturer of “Oleina” in Ukraine), the team of the Vostok SOS charity fund handed over 2,500 food kits to the victims of the environmental disaster at the Kakhovskaya HPP.

“Despite constant enemy shelling, people still refuse to leave their homes. At the moment, we transfer the most necessary things to small villages, because most humanitarian funds have focused on big cities. We work with local authorities and activists, they inform about current needs and provide lists of those who need help. We are doing our best, rescuing the victims and continuing to work in other regions of Ukraine,” said Kateryna Skrypova, Head of the Board of the Vostok SOS Foundation.

At the moment, most of the settlements in the region are left without gas and electricity, so the kits contain ready-to-eat foods, fast food, and bottled water. As of today, the victims in the villages of Antonivka, Komyshany, Zymivnyk, Priozerne, Zabalka, Sadove, and Kozatske have already received help.
