Products of TM “Oleina”, manufactured by the Dnipropetrovsk Oil Extraction Plant, which is part of the Bunge company, have successfully passed the annual supervision procedure, confirming the validity of the environmental certificate No. UA.08.002.382 and the right to apply the “Green Crane” sign.

During the supervision, the compliance assessment results’ stability of ecologically certified products with the requirements of the environmental standard SOU OEM 08.002.03.018:2020 “Vegetable oil. Ecological criteria for life cycle assessment”. It was carried out according to the ISO 14024 (DSTU ISO 14024).

TM “Oleina” products received an environmental certificate for the first time back in 2013, in response to growing consumer demand for products with improved environmental characteristics.

“Today TM “Oleina” is the only brand in Ukraine that has an international environmental certificate for bottled oils. And it is very important for us to comply with high requirements for the quality of products.” says Yevgeniya Roik, brand manager of “Oleina” TM.

The presence of the “Green Crane” ecological certificate confirms that “Oleina”:

• is made from highest quality seeds;
• is based on modern technologies of cleaner production;
• preserved the natural benefits of seeds in oil;
• does not contain GMOs, food additives of artificial origin,
• meets the improved ecological characteristics of the production process.

Ecocertificate “Green Crane” (ISO 14024) is recognized in 54 countries of the world, including USA, and EU countries, etc.

Sustainability is one of “Oleina’s” priorities. As a responsible brand, “Oleina” supports environmental education in Ukraine. Thus, in May 2023, “Oleina” acted as a partner in holding the Ukrainian competition for primary school teachers “Climate for our children”.
