Easter Masterclass: Cheese Pascha, Culinary Tips, and a Festive Atmosphere!

On April 4, in a warm and friendly setting, and under the professional guidance of Oleh Okhrimenko, chef of Yevhen Chernukha Cookery School, beneficiaries of the “Children of Heroes” Foundation once again immersed themselves in the world of cooking. This masterclass, held as part of the “Oleina – for Children. Cooking with Love” project, was dedicated to Easter and dishes that can bring joy to loved ones during the holiday season.

The young participants gained hands-on experience by preparing several dishes, including roasted chicken, Gratin Dauphinois, and a strawberry-rhubarb lemonade. Of course, ahead of Easter, the most special moment was creating a traditional cheese pascha – a festive delicacy rich in meaning and flavor. This became the most exciting and inspiring part of the masterclass, as baking, especially Easter treats, requires precision, patience, and respect for the process. Despite the challenges, the pascha turned out beautifully.

The final touch – decorating with whipped meringue and marshmallows – crowned the effort and added a delightful aesthetic finish.
