Can cheese fondue become the filling for a sandwich? And can a cheesecake be made without baking? On July 18, participants of Oleina’s culinary master class discovered the answers through hands-on cooking.
This time, the menu was all about contrasts: a cheese fondue sandwich, beef escalope with vegetables, a delicate “Two Chocolates” no-bake cheesecake, and a refreshing peach lemonade. Each dish required a different approach – from mastering temperature and timing to trusting creativity and personal taste.
Working alongside Chef from Yevhen Chernukha Cookary School, the young participants prepared every element of the menu themselves, experimented with new cooking techniques, asked plenty of questions, and enjoyed seeing their creations come together. Before long, the kitchen was filled with the aromas of melted cheese, sizzling beef, rich chocolate, and ripe peaches.
More than just a cooking lesson, the master class became a space where children could experiment without fear of making mistakes, support one another, and celebrate every culinary achievement, no matter how small.
The event was held as part of the charitable project “Oleina for Children. Cooking with Love,” implemented by the Oleina brand in partnership with the Children of Heroes Charity Foundation. The initiative introduces children to different cuisines, helps them develop practical life skills and confidence, and creates memorable experiences in a warm and supportive environment.
