From Tempura to Poached Eggs: Oleina’s Summer Cooking Workshop Brought Together Young Chefs

On June 21, another cooking workshop took place as part of the charitable project “Oleina for Children. Cooking with Love”, which the brand implements in partnership with the Children of Heroes Charity Foundation.

At the height of summer, participants immersed themselves in an atmosphere of culinary experimentation, explored new cooking techniques, and discovered seasonal flavours.

The workshop menu featured a warm salad with asparagus, spinach, and a poached egg; chicken slow-cooked in ginger broth and coated in tempura batter, served with plum sauce; Chocolate Butter Cookies; and a refreshing red basil and strawberry lemonade.

Together with the chef from Yevhen Chernukha Cookery School, the children mastered basic cooking techniques and learned that even the smallest details can influence the final result: the temperature of ingredients before mixing, the consistency of tempura batter, the speed of mixing cookie dough, and precise timing when preparing a poached egg.

During the workshop, the young chefs picked up useful tips and tricks from the chef and enjoyed cooking together with friends in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
