Master class "Secrets of Italian street food" with Dmytro Radchenko

The third master class of the project “Oleina – for children. Cooking with love” took place on July 6. In line with good tradition, the event took place in the space of the Miele kitchen in Kyiv. Together with professional chef Dmytro Radchenko, the children began a culinary journey around the world, preparing Italian street food. Twelve MK participants learned the secrets of making bruschetta with various fillings, grissini with herbs and sesame, and focaccia. For dessert, the young chefs made a sweet pastry with mascarpone cheese and various fruits, and complemented the Italian dishes with a refreshing mojito. Together with Dmytro, Valeria, a professional psychologist, worked at the master class, helping each child to open the selves up as best as possible.

The culinary journey through different countries will continue through the summer. At the next master classes, under the guidance of a chef, the participants of the “Children of Heroes” СF will prepare popular Asian, Georgian, Ukrainian and other street-food dishes.

Dmytro Radchenko is a professional chef with over 20 years of work experience, and currently he is the appointed “brand” chef of many establishments in Kyiv and other cities in Ukraine. One of the famous establishments where Dmytro has been working since 2011 is the equestrian family club, restaurant-hotel “Dergachov”. There, he constantly conducts cooking workshops for children. Dmytro Radchenko is the winner of many Ukrainian and international competitions and culinary championships.
